Tina's most recent role she created and managed a “State of the Art” Corporate Compliance, Ethics, Risk and Privacy Program for Millennium Healthcare for the last 5+ years.Tina's program included a Sustainability Program, Legal team, Privacy Program, Contracts office, Drug Diversion Program, Health Information Department, and Enterprise Incident Risk Management.
Tina possesses over 37 years of health care experience. Her entrepreneurial approach is both creative and strategic. Her career path has included hospital systems, physician practices/groups, health care clinics, home health, consultation environment and behavioral health agencies. Tina is in the top 5% in the nation of compliance & ethics professionals holding her level of experience, certification, education, skills and knowledge. She is a strong and clear communicator, especially when speaking about her passion of ethics & compliance.
Her use of creative HIPAA & Privacy programming has won privacy excellence awards, later becoming a “Peer Judge,” a prestigious recognition and honor of her privacy knowledge. Tina was recently the Health Care Compliance Association's cover story for the Compliance Today magazine, April 2023 issue. She also was honored by SAI Global's interview and publication regarding her use of their software for optimal compliance programming.
Tina has served on local and regional boards, one as the Treasurer for the SWFL Association of Fraud Examiners (ACFE), board member for a local behavioral health program, as well as, serving on the Customer Experience Program Advisory Panel (USF).
Tina holds a Master of Jurisprudence with honors, from Delaware Law School, and a Bachelor of Health Care Administration with honors (Upsilon Phi Delta) from Old Dominion University, several Master certifications:
- Corporate Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP),
- Leadership Professional of Ethics & Compliance (LPEC),
- Certified Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC),
- Certified Health Care Quality Management – Patient Safety/Risk Management (CHCQM-PSRM).
She also holds the prestigious designation of Diplomat and Fellow of the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians and an additional Fellowship of the American Institute for Healthcare Quality.
